Skiing is seasonal in the Sierra Nevada only two hours drive away. Fishing is literally on the doorstep. The towns of Vera a pretty Spanish town with its bustling market on Saturday, Garrucha a fishing town with wonderful fish restaurants and Mojacar a town which caters for the holiday maker are minutes away by car.
